Well the first club trip of the year has just departed to dive the Farne Islands off the coast of Northumberland. Today saw club members diving with Grey Seals on what looked like a misty and cool day. I’m sure the weather won’t dampen the enthusiasm though as the club has been keen to get back to doing what we love. For some of the divers this is their first club trip and first time they have dived in the sea. Let’s hope they don’t suffer from sea sickness….. Hopefully one or two of the Farnes trip divers will write a news report which will be posted here shortly along with some photos.
Other trips that the club has planned for this year include Lanzarote in July, Plymouth in August, a trip to dive off the Welsh coast at Milford Haven and a trip to Gozo. Everyone at Boston Sub Aqua Club has their fingers crossed for a reduction in travel restrictions for the foreign trips and descent weather for the UK trips.
