About your Try Dive

So, what can you expect from an Experience Scuba Session?

An Experience Scuba Session is the ideal way to see what it’s like to scuba dive in the safety of our training pool with a BSAC qualified instructor.

We will meet and greet at our club house where you will be given a tour. You will then be given a dive brief explaining how a scuba unit works and a short safety brief. Once completed you will then go to our training pool where you will meet our Kit Officer who will sort you out with all the kit you need for your pool session. Next you will meet your instructor who will be taking you in for the first of your Scuba Experience Sessions. You get two pool sessions of approximately 45 minutes each over two consecutive weeks. After each pool session you are very welcome to come back to our clubhouse for a drink and chat with other club members to find out what club life is like, you may even get to hear some of the stories from club dive trips.

The only requirements to be able to do an Experience Scuba Session are:

• You need to be reasonably fit.
• You are able to swim.
• You are at least 14 years of age.

We also do group Try Dives of up to 10 participants for groups such as Scouts, Cadet groups etc. For more information please contact us.
