Learn to scuba dive with Boston Sub Aqua Club

I have been a member of the club now since 2019, I joined when I was 13. Despite being young, I was impressed (and relieved) that I was made to feel so welcome straight away, treated as an adult and accepted by all club members who have since become my diving family. It is a very relaxed club with no pressure, just tons of support and encouragement. In the 2 years since I joined the club I have passed my Ocean Diver and Sports Diver qualifications and I am now doing my Dive Leader qualification. I am really looking forward to putting the skills I have learnt into practice on the club trips this year when I will be going to Lanzarote, Plymouth and Gozo. Boston Sub Aqua Club are Brilliant!!!

I found Boston Sub Aqua Club in 2010. From my first contact with one of the club members, my experience has been positive throughout. I can honestly say the time and effort put in by the instructors, who do this because they love diving and love teaching diving, was tremendous and I was made very welcome and soon made many new friends. I have so enjoyed my time in the club that I have served on the committee in various roles, have been welcomed on many diving trips both in the UK and further afield, including Scotland, Wales, Scillies, Egypt and Gozo. The knowledge I have gained over the years has also given me the confidence to seek out a day or two diving wherever I am on holiday with the family. The BSAC step up approach has seen me complete the following two diver grades after completing the initial Ocean Diver grade - Sports Diver and Dive Leader. I have been so taken with diving and the club that I have trained and was successful in becoming an instructor in 2019. The club encourages members from all walks of life, from 12 years with a family member diving or 14 years independently. There really is something for everyone.  Boston Sub Aqua Club is 5 star!

I’ve always been fascinated with Scuba diving and used to love watching the adventures of Jacques Cousteau as a child. I was thrilled when I got an Experience Scuba Try Dive session as a birthday present in 2009; that was it, I was hooked! I joined Boston Sub Aqua Club in 2009 and have enjoyed being a member of a very friendly and supportive club ever since. I have been helped to progress through from an Ocean Diver to a Dive Leader and I really enjoy going on the club dive trips all around the UK and abroad. If you are looking for the ideal club to start your scuba adventures you couldn’t find a better club than Boston Sub Aqua Club. Definitely Five stars!!!
